INFORMATION TEXT ON PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA RELATED TO FAIRS ORGANIZED BY TGTV AND IDSB
The Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (KVKK) was published in the Official Gazette dated 07.04.2016 and numbered 29677 and entered into force. This Law, which was prepared by taking into account international standards, the needs of our country and comparative legal practices, aims to process and protect personal data in line with modern standards. Within this framework, the purpose of KVKK is to regulate the conditions of processing personal data, the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals during the processing of personal data, and the obligations of real and legal persons processing data and the procedures and principles they will comply with.
TGTV and IDSB process all personal data obtained at organized fairs and events within the scope of KVKK in accordance with Law No. 6698. In this context, TGTV and İDSB act as data controllers in all activities they carry out through the www.stkfuari.org website and take the necessary measures to protect personal data.
General Principles in Processing Personal Data
TGTV and İDSB act in accordance with the general principles set forth in Law No. 6698 during the processing of personal data. The basic principles in processing personal data are as follows:
Being in compliance with the law and rules of honesty,
Being accurate and up-to-date when necessary,
Being processed for specific, clear and legitimate purposes,
Being connected, limited and proportionate to the purpose for which they are processed,
Being stored for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation or necessary for the purpose for which they are processed.
Method of Collection and Purpose of Processing of Your Personal Data
Your personal data may be collected in connection with the fairs, events or commercial activities organized by TGTV and İDSB; It can be collected verbally, in written or electronic environments, through automatic or non-automatic methods, through the www.stkfuari.org website, call centers, social media channels, mobile applications and direct offices, branches.
Personal data collected within this scope can be processed for the following purposes:
Managing the participation processes in fairs and events,
Promoting new events and fairs,
Conducting communication processes,
Performing statistical analyses and reporting,
Fulfilling relevant legislation and legal obligations.
Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data can be shared with authorized public institutions and our business partners within the framework of the relevant legislation. In addition, sharing can be done with institutions and third-party service providers that cooperate with business partners in the fair organization processes at home and abroad.
Rights of Personal Data Owners
Personal data owners, in accordance with Article 11 of Law No. 6698;
They have the right to learn whether their personal data has been processed,
To request information about personal data if it has been processed,
To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether this data is used in accordance with its purpose,
To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred,
To request correction of personal data if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly,
To request deletion or destruction of personal data,
To request compensation for damages if you suffer damages due to personal data processed in violation of the law.
